Trakt Forest Hotel – Forest Suite Salix

Salix is one of five architect-designed forest suites at Trakt Forest Hotel, nestled in the heart of the Småland forest. Elevated on eight wooden pillars, this 31-square-meter suite offers panoramic views over treetops and open fields. Designed to blend into its natural surroundings with minimal environmental impact, Salix is built entirely of wood and insulated with natural wood wool, with materials carefully carried in to preserve the forest floor.

Inside, you’ll find a king-size bed under a skylight—perfect for stargazing or waking with the dawn. The suite also includes a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, electric heating, a cozy fireplace, and floor heating in the bathroom. Relax in the locally made armchair, enjoy the silence, and watch wildlife from the large panorama window. The sofa bed can accommodate two extra guests, making Salix ideal for couples, small families, or anyone seeking a peaceful nature retreat.

Enjoy a seasonal breakfast served in the nearby log house or delivered as a basket to your door. Robes, slippers, and a hair dryer are provided for your comfort. While Salix is a WiFi-free space designed to help you disconnect and unwind, access can be arranged upon request.
